Don't these flowers look like they're singing? All I could think about when I passed them was how much they reminded me of the opening scene in The Double Life of Veronique, when the choir of young women stand singing in the rain and then leave one by one, until only Weronika is left (becoming more and more radiant) until the end of the last note.
Oh, and this is how my adorable little Sophie spent the day...
gorgeous florals and you look wonderful in yellow!
ReplyDeletelove the color of the dress! seems so perfect for the shiny weather :D
ReplyDeleteand i adore the coat!!! it such a find! :D

ReplyDeleteKelley Anne, I really missed your outfit posts and I'm so happy that you finally posted one after a long time.
ReplyDeleteI love your vintage dress... love the cut and the color.
Flowers makes me happy... spring is in the air. I just wish we have spring here in the Philippines because right now, the weather sucks and all the flowers are wilting because of the heat.
Have a great day! xoxo

ReplyDeleteOH noz, I just wrote a comment and Blogger said it was "published" but it didn't show up. No worries, I'll try and remember what I wrote.
ReplyDeleteFirst off all, thank you very much for your recent comments, honey, it's always a wonderful treat when you stop by Chronically Vintage for a visit.
I adore these shots! Spring has been late in arriving (and was all too early in arriving), and I'm starved for signs of new life and verdant beauty again. Until spring finally breaks out the cherry blossoms and new grass, I will happily live it vicariously through your wonderful springtime snaps! :)
Wishing you a gorgeous Thursday!!!
♥ Jessica
Hi again sweetie,
ReplyDeleteWell, I guess my first comment was just a little late in showing up, as it was there after I published my second one. The two were very similar, so I hope you don't mind that I deleted the first one (silly Blogger, always doing buggy things like that ;D).
Oodles of hugs!
♥ Jessica
What a perfectly spring post. I love your shots of the flowers and they look amazing juxtaposed with your yellow vintage dress. I'm not familiar with The Double Life of Veronique, but I'm going to have to check it out now after reading your linked post on it.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your sweet comment on my blog. I am feeling much, much better...almost normal practically. Thanks again for the well wishes.
xoxo

That dress is so amazing. When I was younger I never wore pink or yellow..glad I got over that as yellow is such a happy color. Cool coat too.
ReplyDeleteyou look amazing in that dress, and I am happy you decided to post your drawings on here they are really great. Thanks for the kind words on our blog. That is so funny that there was an Anthropologie down the street from Talbots near you, because we have the same in Cincinnati! Have a great weekend.
