Just a quick post...I had a bigger blog post planned, but my laptop went on the fritz and I think it may be done for. So here I am on our roommate's desktop, mourning the loss of my little Mac. We've been through a lot together over the past six years and its been a good run, but I think it might be time to say goodbye. Strangely enough, I am actually more than a little sad...how strange it is to become so attached to an inanimate object.
On a happier note, I think I may have found the perfect pair of shoes at Anthropologie's website! (although they are WAY out of my price range:) Its always fun to dream...
Those are precious shoes.
ReplyDeleteI get attached to inanimate objects too. It's frustrating and the reason I have a too crowded house (says the husband, anyway).
Best wishes for a speedy new laptop.
Oh dear, how sad! I understand. My computer nearly died a couple of months ago and I found myself strangely sad about the possibility of having to part with it. (Fortunately, it was revived!) Good luck finding a new one!
ReplyDeleteThose shoes are darling! It is a shame they are so expensive. Boo. :(
my computer is my life-line, so I can relate!!! Those shoes are FANTASTIC!!!!
ReplyDeleteohhhh my goodness. those shoes are P-E-R-F-E-C-T. gosh they make me mad with those sky high prices :P
ReplyDeletethank you for the kreativ award! i've been trying to think of little facts, i'm a bit stumped haha ;) best to sleep on these things i guess!
The shoes are gorgeous! I have seen similar ones in Dorothy Perkins but they are not quite the same as the pictured shoes :)
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about your laptop! I get attached to things like that to. I hope you get a new laptop soon! :)
Thank you so much for your lovely comment and in reply to your question, I am going to Dorset. So I'm hoping the weather is going to be nice! :)
Love Kirsty .x.
Oh bummer about the Mac, hey good excuse to upgrade though.
ReplyDeleteI can see those shoes on your tootsies for sure.xxx
This is the second time today I've seen shoes with ribbon bows - i must have some. Yours are gorgeous!
ReplyDeletesorry to hear about your laptop. i'd say 6 years is a pretty good run, but it's hard to give something like that up. i hope you get a fabulous new one.
ReplyDeletethose shoes are beautiful. i hope you get those too!
xo,
the little violet dress
perhaps it's a good opportunity to upgrade...but I understand how you feel... Adore the bows on the shoes!
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about your Mac, I know the feeling though. I had the same iPod for about the same amount of time until it died out on me last year. Really sucked, it'd been with me for such a long time... :(
ReplyDeleteRegarding the shoes though, you may want to try the brick-and-mortar store (if you haven't already). When I was in San Francisco I went in for a look at the Anthropologie on Market street and there were some really cute shoes at 60% off, later when I went online they had the same ones at regular price (no sale at all).
Lovely shoes! Anthropolgie has the coolest stuff although sometimes out of my price range too...
ReplyDeleteSorry about your mac - I am sadly attached to my Mac too. they make such good friends. :)
oh gosh those shoes are amazing
ReplyDeleteoh my, i avoid looking at anthropologie because it's all too expensive for me. those shoes are soooo lovely.
ReplyDeleteand i know how you feel. your mac actually lasted longer than mine did! i think i got 3 years out of mine! but hey, at least you get to upgrade! ;)

I don't even want to LOOK at how expensive they are! ;@_@; Which is so sad... because now I want them so badly.
ReplyDeletethose shoes are SO cute! i recently delighted over a pair of silver flats from Anthro, but i just dont think i can justify $98 on shoes right now!
ReplyDeleteOh, that so sad:( I'm sorry about your laptop!:*
ReplyDeleteAnd the shoes are indeed nothing but perfect!
I've got to add you to my blogroll!:)
:***
Sorry 2 hear about ur MAC, will U be getting a new one? & those shoes are the bomb! ;-)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous shoes! I so wished that you were going to say you had bought them. Ah, well, I find that intense longing for an item is strangely more pleasurable when it's never satisfied.
ReplyDeleteOn a side not
Whoops, I definitely didn't finish that before publishing. I was going to say:
ReplyDeleteOn a side note, my word verification was "shoely." Seems appropriate, non?
Those shoes are so sweet!
ReplyDelete(ps. You have more awards!) :D
ReplyDeleteThose shoes are awesome. Maybe they will go on super-sale?
