Hello again everyone. I'm sorry for my prolonged absence. I decided that I needed to take a short break, and then developed a nasty head cold that's kept me from doing much of anything for the past week. Its starting to fade though and I'm more than ready to get back to blogging.
Yesterday, Dan and I went to his parents' house for their family's yearly tree trimming party. While he went to pick up several family members, I stayed and took some photos in and around the house. Its starting to get really cold here and I've had to seriously bundle up whenever I go out. While I don't enjoy being cold, I do love any excuse to pull out my favorite winter coat. I've had it for three years, and just keep on making repairs to it as they're needed. I honestly can't imagine winter without it.
I hope the rest of everyone's weekends go well!

Oh hi there honey, was just thinking the other day of sending out an SOS to you, but thought you may be having a quite break. Sorry to hear you have been unwell, hope you are better now!
ReplyDeleteI loved the variety of photo's, the sunflare one is beautiful, the dress is gorgeous. I love your red coat, so very festive.
The fourth photo is so magical and loved the contrast of the deep red and cream in one of the photo's.
The second last photo is really interesting, kinda goes with the dress very retro feel to it.

Well, it's me again! I've changed my account name from "CaitieCatherwood1314" to "KatieDahl", but I'm updating (and commenting) again! :D
ReplyDeleteThat dress is lovely! It reminds me of the 60's, a time period which I am beginning to like more than I would have expected.
That coat is also beautiful, though I admit that thing I love the most is your scarf! The colors are beautiful! <3
